Weekend

We had a nice weekend in Portland - sunny and in the 70's. It was good to see that summer is finally on its way to the Pacific Northwest.

We picked Porter up from the Behaviorist/Trainer early Saturday morning. He passed the "test" and can join a pack of friendly dogs to stay and play with while we are in Minnesota. Despite what we think though, he is not a perfect dog and WE need more training. He must of had fun during his time away, because he was nearly comatose for the whole day on Saturday.

We took advantage of the lull in dog energy to do some work around the house and take a bike ride on Saturday.

Porter perked up just in time for a hike on Sunday. Our friend Adam and Porter's friend, Miles joined us for a hike in the Trapper Creek Wilderness in Washington. The hike was in an area of old growth forest along Trapper Creek.
